GOT VENISON? NEED IDEAS ON HOW TO USE IT? 

I married into a hunting family in 2013. Prior to meeting my husband, I don’t think I’d ever had venison. When his mom told me she hadn’t bought beef in 30 years, I didn’t believe her. Now it’s been at least 9 years since I’ve bought beef…here’s to many more! I realized recently that our kitchen is a great resource for anyone who hunts deer or is married to someone who hunts deer and is looking for ways to use it (in addition to traditional summer sausage). I’m hoping to inspire anyone who has venison to use to use it, especially if you’re not sure you like it. One of these ways you will! Happy hunting, folks!
