Cheeseburgers! (Venison/Hamburger)

1lb Ground venison

1lb Ground beef Minced mushrooms

Butter

Olive oil

Hamburger seasoning (Watkins)

Make into patties. Top with garlic salt and the grill on the smoker! Add sliced cheddar cheese when close to done. 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋 Spring and grilling weather are here!!


Note: Venison is so lean that having burger made out of ground venison alone is difficult, because the burgers are crumbly and do not stick together well during grilling. The ground beef we had on hand was also lean (97/3) so he needed to add fat. The combination of minced mushrooms, butter and olive oil made it so that the meat would stick together as patties during grilling.
