Inspired by Game On Suckers Trivia, the only trivia where conservation always wins, hosted by Spencer Neuharth.
Might be the most delicious venison roast, or heck, any roast, I've ever had.
Started with two buck shanks from a December 2021 whitetail season. Thawed.
Put shanks into a crockpot.
Douse with one packet of dried ranch seasoning and one packet of dried au jus seasoning.
Add 5 peppercinis (from a jar).
Put crockpot on low for 10+ hours.
Add veggies at some point (around 4hrs before you're ready to eat). We used halved potatoes, carrots, mushrooms, and onions.
Serve hot.
It was deeeeee-licious. Highly recommend. Will make again.
