Recipe to follow later. My mother-in-law's cooking!
Okay, not my cooking, but definitely worth sharing.
First, canned venison is a trick that I have not undertaken...yet. But having it on hand sure does make it easy to whip this venison stroganoff together.
Heat canned venison and some beef broth. Combine cornstarch and some beef broth in a small dish to make a sludge. Slowly add sludge to the venison/broth mix to make a venison gravy. Add carrots, broccoli or other veggies as desired. Simmer for a long time. Prior to eating, add a few tablespoons cream cheese!
(Mother-in-Law, if you read this, feel free to correct anything I don't have quite right!)
Served over noodles with a side of green beans and Aldi take-and-bake bread!
