Fresh Lake Michigan Salmon

After a week in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin (just a short boat ride to Lake Michigan), we came home with several meals worth of salmon and rainbow trout. Hubby and I agreed that it’s best fresh, not two years later and freezer burned, so we decided to grill it up as soon as we got home! Hubby put the salmon filets on the grill, drizzled with butter, and seasoned them: some Cajun, some garlic & herb, and some lemon pepper (crowd favorite!).


Served with:

-Fresh garden salad with veggies from our garden (tomatoes, green beans, cucumbers, snap peas) and my mother-in-law’s garden (lettuce, carrots, green beans)

-Sautéed beet greens (thanks to my mother-in-law’s garden)

-Pickled beets (again my mother-in-laws doing)


DELISH!! Fresh-caught grilled salmon has moved into my top 5 favorite meals!
